‘m going to show you a simple, clean, professional local business website that’s affordable, built specifically for them, and designed to capture the audience just the way you want it to. If you want one for your business, this is something you should check out.
Check it out! This is a website we just built for the local hardware store Summit True Value Hardware. As you scroll through, you’ll notice it gives a professional, simple, clean, and easy-to-navigate look for this small business.
Now, there are a few things going on here that are really important for this business. First of all, we’ve got their name, and it says right here what they do. It tells you right off the bat what you can expect.
As you scroll down through the site, you can click on the different departments, services, or the location and hours—the exact things that the consumer is looking for. That’s why they visit a website in the first place. Then you can browse with very clean images and link to see all the departments.
We’re going to get to that in a second so you can understand exactly the types of things they sell. For instance, if you’re doing an electrical project, painting, or tackling an outdoor project that requires power tools, you can see that this business offers exactly what you need for their local community.
You can also see the services they offer, like fixing your lawnmower engine or providing pickup and delivery for mulch or other services. You can click to check them out.
Next, they included a look around their store by feeding in a photo gallery. You can see exactly what is available at the store and what it’s going to look like when you walk into this local hardware store.
And this—I love this! The next section is brilliant. Notice every single section here has a purpose. It’s not overburdened with unnecessary elements, making it clean and professional, which gives the right impression to potential customers. Every single part serves a purpose.
Here are the quick links to get the exact information you need. These are the three things people care about. There are also nice images and breakdowns that lead you into what you might be interested in as a consumer.
Here’s a look inside the store so you know what it looks like and what you can expect. You can see the full inventory.
Then, it goes to their Google reviews. We know that people read reviews before visiting local businesses. They are proud of their reviews, so they showcase them here. They also invite people to review them on Google because they know consistent reviews help with local SEO.
As I scroll down, here’s a contact form—quick and easy to use.
Now, as I go over to departments or services, you’ll notice these sections are fully filled out. A big mistake most small businesses make is not providing enough or relevant text about what they offer and where they offer it.
In these sections, you see exactly what they offer and where they offer it. What does this do? It tells Google the information with relevant, localized keywords, saying, “Not just we’re a hardware store,” but “We’re a hardware store that helps with small touch-ups or major renovations, and you can get what you need at our store in this location.”
They’ve also included links and brand logos for the main products they carry, like Scotts, True Green, Boney, Roundup, and Ortho. This makes it clear they offer trusted brands for lawn and garden supplies.
They’ve listed these brands as text, included their logos, and added lots of relevant text for Google to pick up and understand exactly what this business offers.
You can see a nice, professional, clean website with the exact information a consumer is looking for—nothing more, nothing less. Every section of this website serves a purpose and presents a clean, professional look.
Not only that, but they also included a chat widget so customers can easily ask questions. The phone number is easy to access, the email is easy to access, and if you go to the contact or locations page, it’s simple to find their address, hours, and other details.
All the information is there—clean and professional.
We built this website for only $99 a month to host it for the customer. There’s no upfront fee to build it. That’s it!
